Rafael Campos, born April 15, 1988, Puerto Rico's #1 Ranked Professional Golfer who has represented Puerto Rico for the last 10 years. He has won numerous tournaments locally as well as internationally. He started playing at age nine and has slowly developed into a more well-rounded golfer. Always looking for support, not only from his family and friends, but also from fans and spectators, he has focused on working hard to get to the next level.
In Argentina he placed 3rd individually in the Copa de Las Americas (Tournament of the Americas). Campos finished one stroke ahead of Peter Uihlein (287), who is the No. 1 ranked U.S. amateur golfer, and two in front of Nathan Smith (288), who is ranked second nationally.
Rafael participated in the several Puerto Rico Opens.Also, he has been 3 times Puerto Rico Junior Amateur Champion. He finished 17th individually at 2010 World Amateur Team Championship.
Rafael Campos has been five consecutive times Puerto Rico Champion (2OO7-2O12).
Campos is actually part of the Web.Com Tour, his next tournaments will be in Brazil and Colombia.
